Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve his year was so much fun!
We went to a church in the morining for the breakfast with the family on my dad's side.We had lots of food(ofcourse it was breakfast)my favorite was Aunt Katie's pull aparts, good job Katie! Then Katie came up(big Katie) and told us she is PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then(I seem to like that word) we did the gift exchange. A lot of people got a lot of stuff yadayada ( we got cosmic tag thingy).
We then did the talent show. Dave's family went first, the kids did a skit tha was so funny! It was like about a machine that you could test your smarts on,the guy who tryed(Jordan) to outsmart it,but never did.And Mikayla and Abbey played the Best Day by Taylor Swift, and Tyler and Jordan sang a song called Hot coco or something like that.So funny! Then our family, JJ played her song  on the piano with mom,Kate played the piano,Abbey played the piano, and Matt told about his trophies from chess tournaments.Don's family; Brendon showed his hover craft(which is AWESOME!) and his buzzer(both of which he made himself), Sydney read her stories that she wrote, and Alyssa played a song on the piano.Anne's family; They did a HILARIOUS skit where when they changed the channel  they would act out what it was, like Hannah Montanna ZZ acted her out.
The nativity was next. I wasn't going to do anything but then Jessie asked if I would be the narrator so I was. It was really fun!

Later that day:
We had fun and played games the rest of the day, I also hleped Abbey clean her room so that we could have fun that night. Grandma and grandpa came over for dinner. Then we opened our christmas eve presents which was PJs,a book, and socks(toe socks with monkeys!).
Then we went to "bed" which really ment go and watch return of the king and play games.

Halloween

This year Halloween was amazing!
Grandma and grandpa were there and of course as always we went to a movie.Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! It was hilarious! It didn't really follow the book but it was a good movie. besides it was a 10 page book they had to make it longer.
The Halloween dinner was yummy! It was also gross! The side dish was "brains"(really Ramon noodles). My mom discovered it while giving Grace lunch one day. She had let it sit for longer then needed and when she dished it out it looked like a brain(ICKY!).As always Mummy dogs were the main course(hot dogs with rolls wrapped around them and mustard for eyes). Then there were fingers(carrots in ranch dip).Luckily mom didn't put the gummy worms in the ice cubes like last year, just on the side of the cup.
That night we got dressed up and took photos. Then we split paths. I went to Ashley's,Abbey to Bryn.'s,Matthew to his chess book, and everyone else trick or treating. Grace was cute in her Giraffe costume(which has gone thru everyone). When I got to Ashley's we "played" x box for about 10 sec. while we waited for Katie and Charolette to come. Once they were there we played the skittle game(fun fun)and watched a movie. It was a weird movie in which Emily Osment was a goth.Me and Katie talked it was fun!I went home at 8:30 and we played master piece it was fun! Then we watched the stupidest movie ever. It sounds so cool but it was stupid! Something wicked this wat Comes.

Girls' Camp

Girls' Camp was AMAZING! The stake leaders put a great deal of effort for it.
Day 1: On day one we got there at 6:30 I think. We gathered into ward groups with our stuff.
After a while we loaded into the buses. Our stuff got loaded onto trailers. Which was very interesting trying to find your stuff because it was it was all the stakes suff in one big mess. When we got there we went to what I call it "the big mess" to find our stuff. In all my stupidity I did not put my name on any of my things and there were some lookalikes. Lets just say it took sometime. Then we went to our cabins. It was a cabin with 14 bunks. It was a really fun day. I'm sad I didn't write this down sooner so if I'm not totally correct excuse me.
The challenge course was awesome! We did a lot of challenges (of course) The one I liked best was one where you were stranded on a sinking ship, and there was a rope inbetween the ship and an island(the island was a rug about well very small) you had to swing across the shark invested waters and land on the rug. you and your group all had to make it on (there was about 10 or 11 in my group) the rug and if yiu touched the ground then you had to go back and do it again. And suprisingly we did it!
Day 2:6:00 am got up. did PJS (P. prays J. journal S. scriptures) funny huh? then there was breakfast. And Flag ceromony. where they raise the flag for the day (the american and heber valley) sang camp songs (fun fun) aafter flag ceremony we went to Legacy Lake. It was really fun. But the water looked icky. I feel sorry for the people who got wet. I didn't really go in a canoe. I went in a paddle boat with Sis. Staker. I didn't even have to paddle. Just sat back and enjoyed the scenery (except the lake's contents). Then we had luch .Then there was ward free time. All we really did was goof around. Then yummy dinner at Ruby's Diner (that's what they call the cafeteria). After a bit it was flag cermony where they take down the flags. And the devotional. Then one of the best parts of girls' camp.... the guest celebrity. It was an actor I don't remember his name. But his stories about meeting people and the movies he has been in.
Day 3: This was my favorite day. It was skit night!Where every ward makes up a skit. But it has to have certain scriptures and it has to have your ward theme in there somewhere. Our wards thing was confusing. It wasa miniture horror story. the villian's name was Victor. He had stolen something from 5 people. He has an apprentice Soulia. Who is a double agent also working for Ruby the detective. The skit was about Soulia deciding who to follow. She of course decided to work with Ruby and turned Victor....
Who was then banished to Sibria.
Day 4: Was bascically ward day. Also testimony night. fun fun. Oh and there was also a stake activity. It was really fun. fFor one of the stations we made a blanket for McKenna (a girl in our stake who has cancer).
Testimony night is when your bishopric comes up for a night. We got bishop Vance on tape doing the penguin dance.
Later that night I went home because the 3rd ward had a flu thing and I couldn't risk getting sick so close to my surgery.

Girls' Camp

Girls Camp is creeping closer.
This will be my first year and I am so excited! I heard a lot about it and it sounds like so much fun!On the sunrise hike(the hike to see the sunrise)there is supposed to be a meteor shower (which happens once every decade or so) it will be so cool! This year's color is lavander.

The fourth ward got orange. I feel sorry for them!
I'll keep you updated!

Sunday Miracle

This Sunday started out as just an ordinary one with us getting ready for church , going, then listening to the talks , lessons, and more lessons. After church all seemed calm but there was a crowd in the middle of the parking lot. I wondered why they had chosen to gather there in the middle of the parking lot. Then I heard a little boy crying.I realized that someone had gotten run over by a car. I wonder who it was and if they were alright. Then someone called 911. And an ambulance came to take them away to the hospital.
It turned out to have been Max Balderee. A two year old. We took his siblings home. They seemed pretty shaken up.We had some lunch (grilled cheese) then we had fun. Me and Niki (the oldest) went to my room to talk about things. It turned out that she had been watching Max and he had run out saying "you can't catch me" then someone backed up and ran over him.
A little while later her grandma called to say that he was doing great! Had no broken bones... or anything of the sort, just a few scratches. But they were going to keep him there just in case. He might be able to come home that night!
So we set to work making posters and cards. We made a big card and took around to the neighbors to sign. Then her grandma called and said that they would be home in a hour! the doctors said it was a miracle that he was alive and had not broken at least two bones. When he got home it was as if nothing had happened. the only bandaid he had got was where they had stuck an iv. And he was a happy enterjectic two year old again.

The fourth of July

Well this year Was a very very very fun 4th of July!

For breakfast we had patriotic pancakes. With yogurt, blueberries , raspberries ( from our own garden), and strawberries(also from the garden).

After breakfast we made our shirts. Every year we make shirts to wear on the fourth of July. Mine usually turn out crappy, but this year I choose to do it simple. And it turned out GREAT! I just did stars all over and I think it was a big suprise!

We passed the afternoon doing stuff... reading, chess , wii.
But soon after we started the fun. We played FREEze tag with an english flag and an U.S.A.
flag. It was tiring . Then fire in the jungle. so on so forth.
then for the food!
We had a picnic .... with cheetios!
those were gone in a flash.. along with the olives.

Then we put off small fire works in the court. And huge homemade popsicles.
We saw some of the Thanksgiving Point's they were huge ( and noisy)!
