Day 1: On day one we got there at 6:30 I think. We gathered into ward groups with our stuff.
After a while we loaded into the buses. Our stuff got loaded onto trailers. Which was very interesting trying to find your stuff because it was it was all the stakes suff in one big mess. When we got there we went to what I call it "the big mess" to find our stuff. In all my stupidity I did not put my name on any of my things and there were some lookalikes. Lets just say it took sometime. Then we went to our cabins. It was a cabin with 14 bunks. It was a really fun day. I'm sad I didn't write this down sooner so if I'm not totally correct excuse me.
The challenge course was awesome! We did a lot of challenges (of course) The one I liked best was one where you were stranded on a sinking ship, and there was a rope inbetween the ship and an island(the island was a rug about well very small) you had to swing across the shark invested waters and land on the rug. you and your group all had to make it on (there was about 10 or 11 in my group) the rug and if yiu touched the ground then you had to go back and do it again. And suprisingly we did it!
Day 2:6:00 am got up. did PJS (P. prays J. journal S. scriptures) funny huh? then there was breakfast. And Flag ceromony. where they raise the flag for the day (the american and heber valley) sang camp songs (fun fun) aafter flag ceremony we went to Legacy Lake. It was really fun. But the water looked icky. I feel sorry for the people who got wet. I didn't really go in a canoe. I went in a paddle boat with Sis. Staker. I didn't even have to paddle. Just sat back and enjoyed the scenery (except the lake's contents). Then we had luch .Then there was ward free time. All we really did was goof around. Then yummy dinner at Ruby's Diner (that's what they call the cafeteria). After a bit it was flag cermony where they take down the flags. And the devotional. Then one of the best parts of girls' camp.... the guest celebrity. It was an actor I don't remember his name. But his stories about meeting people and the movies he has been in.
Day 3: This was my favorite day. It was skit night!Where every ward makes up a skit. But it has to have certain scriptures and it has to have your ward theme in there somewhere. Our wards thing was confusing. It wasa miniture horror story. the villian's name was Victor. He had stolen something from 5 people. He has an apprentice Soulia. Who is a double agent also working for Ruby the detective. The skit was about Soulia deciding who to follow. She of course decided to work with Ruby and turned Victor....
Who was then banished to Sibria.
Day 4: Was bascically ward day. Also testimony night. fun fun. Oh and there was also a stake activity. It was really fun. fFor one of the stations we made a blanket for McKenna (a girl in our stake who has cancer).
Testimony night is when your bishopric comes up for a night. We got bishop Vance on tape doing the penguin dance.
Later that night I went home because the 3rd ward had a flu thing and I couldn't risk getting sick so close to my surgery.
