Sunday Miracle

This Sunday started out as just an ordinary one with us getting ready for church , going, then listening to the talks , lessons, and more lessons. After church all seemed calm but there was a crowd in the middle of the parking lot. I wondered why they had chosen to gather there in the middle of the parking lot. Then I heard a little boy crying.I realized that someone had gotten run over by a car. I wonder who it was and if they were alright. Then someone called 911. And an ambulance came to take them away to the hospital.
It turned out to have been Max Balderee. A two year old. We took his siblings home. They seemed pretty shaken up.We had some lunch (grilled cheese) then we had fun. Me and Niki (the oldest) went to my room to talk about things. It turned out that she had been watching Max and he had run out saying "you can't catch me" then someone backed up and ran over him.
A little while later her grandma called to say that he was doing great! Had no broken bones... or anything of the sort, just a few scratches. But they were going to keep him there just in case. He might be able to come home that night!
So we set to work making posters and cards. We made a big card and took around to the neighbors to sign. Then her grandma called and said that they would be home in a hour! the doctors said it was a miracle that he was alive and had not broken at least two bones. When he got home it was as if nothing had happened. the only bandaid he had got was where they had stuck an iv. And he was a happy enterjectic two year old again.

The fourth of July

Well this year Was a very very very fun 4th of July!

For breakfast we had patriotic pancakes. With yogurt, blueberries , raspberries ( from our own garden), and strawberries(also from the garden).

After breakfast we made our shirts. Every year we make shirts to wear on the fourth of July. Mine usually turn out crappy, but this year I choose to do it simple. And it turned out GREAT! I just did stars all over and I think it was a big suprise!

We passed the afternoon doing stuff... reading, chess , wii.
But soon after we started the fun. We played FREEze tag with an english flag and an U.S.A.
flag. It was tiring . Then fire in the jungle. so on so forth.
then for the food!
We had a picnic .... with cheetios!
those were gone in a flash.. along with the olives.

Then we put off small fire works in the court. And huge homemade popsicles.
We saw some of the Thanksgiving Point's they were huge ( and noisy)!

Thank you for visiting...
