Today was the 1st day of school. My teacher Mrs. Van Tassell. I was very disappointed that I got her but in finding out that Mr. Stopa and Mr. Barbato left and they hadn't hired new teachers yet that I had really got the best teacher, but after I met the other teachers I think they are all equal.
The day went well, other then the fact I had only 1 friend in my class. Now that I look at the 5th graders this year they seem so little.

Dear Faith,
You look beautiful as you head back to school. Beautiful and way too grown up. How clearly I see you in my mind's eye as your mother and father brought you home from the hospital. So tiny!!
